Chinese embroidery blue robe late 19th-Century

A fine of Qing dynasty silk emboidery blue robe. Gold metal thread. Dragon robes were first made for the Emperor who wore them in a special golden yellow colour. They feature dragons and other symbols of heaven and earth such as clouds, flaming pearls and, at the hem, a mountain peak surrounded by waves and water
