My collection is beginning from my hobby. I collected from a small item and my first item was Islamic and Chinese export silver in 2006.
The body, of barbed, quadrilobed outline, is painted on the long sides with scenes of the garden tree/flowers. within quadrilobed panels Attached to the shoulder is a two-part swing handle. The sides of the cover are similarly decorated below the flat top, which is pierced with a pattern of interlocking wan diaper. The interior is covered in turquoise enamel and fitted with a deep metal liner. The base is enameled white. 7¼ in. (18.4 cm.) long
A great battle unfolds in wonderful repoussé work upon this beautiful Chinese export silver tankard. Crafted by Lee Ching of Canton, Shanghai and Hong Kong, this double-skinned form is a fine example of mid-19th century Chinese silver created specifically to meet Western tastes. The addition of a dragon-formed handle completes the tankards wonderful design. Marked LEECHING, Dimensions: 14 x 13 cm. 554 grams. Condition: Perfect condition.
